Public does not mean every internal thought is disclosed. It means the company is built so that its important claims, ownership, controls, decisions, and results can become inspectable without a last-minute reconstruction.

The design surface

• ownership and contribution records;
• contracts and decision authority;
• financial and operating reporting;
• metric definitions and denominators;
• governance and conflicts;
• evidence provenance;
• human control boundaries;
• correction and disclosure paths.

The point is not paperwork for its own sake. The point is to make speed survivable.
